Gleam is an AI-powered review response automation service operated by LucraLab LLC ("LucraLab", "we", "us", or "our"). Gleam monitors your Google Business Profile reviews and generates AI-drafted responses, which are either posted automatically (for positive reviews) or sent to you for approval via SMS (for negative reviews) before posting.
By creating an account and subscribing to Gleam, you ("Customer", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use Gleam.
Gleam communicates with you primarily via SMS (text message). By providing your mobile phone number during signup and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to receive the following types of SMS from Gleam:
When a negative review (1–3 stars) is posted to your Google Business Profile, Gleam sends you a text message containing the review text and an AI-generated draft response. You reply APPROVE, EDIT [your text], or IGNORE. These alerts are sent as reviews arrive — there is no fixed frequency, but the volume depends on how many negative reviews your business receives.
When Gleam automatically posts a response to a positive review (4–5 stars), you may receive a brief confirmation text. You can disable these confirmations by contacting support.
You can opt out of Gleam SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message from Gleam. Once you opt out, Gleam will no longer send you review alerts or any other text messages. Note that opting out of SMS will prevent Gleam from notifying you about negative reviews requiring your approval.
Message and data rates may apply. Gleam does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Message frequency varies based on your review volume.
During sign-up, you may separately opt in to receive occasional marketing messages from Gleam — such as product updates, tips, feature announcements, and promotional offers. This opt-in is entirely optional and is separate from the service SMS consent. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to any marketing message. Opting out of marketing messages does not affect your service alerts (review notifications and approval requests).
By providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to receive SMS during signup, you provide your prior express consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) for Gleam to send you transactional text messages related to your account and review management. Your consent to receive service SMS is required to use Gleam's core review alert and approval features. Your phone number will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Gleam relies on third-party telecommunications carriers to deliver SMS messages to your device. Gleam and LucraLab are not responsible for any delays, failures, or errors in SMS delivery caused by your mobile carrier or any other telecommunications provider. If you are not receiving SMS alerts, please contact your carrier to ensure messages from our number are not being blocked or filtered.
Gleam offers an optional Staff Review Reminders feature that allows you (the practice owner) to add staff members' mobile phone numbers so they receive periodic text reminders to ask customers for Google reviews.
By adding a staff member's phone number, you represent and warrant that:
Gleam processes staff phone numbers on your behalf as part of the service. You remain the data controller for your staff members' information.
Staff reminders are sent at most once per cadence period (weekly, biweekly, or monthly). Each message includes opt-out instructions ("Reply STOP to opt out"). Message and data rates may apply.
On the 1st of each calendar month, Gleam sends a reputation report to the email address associated with your account. This report includes:

Gleam is offered on a subscription basis. Current plan options and pricing are listed at gleamreply.com. Plan details may be updated from time to time; existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect.
New accounts may be eligible for a 14-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to Gleam's features. No charge is applied until the trial ends. At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan unless you cancel before the trial period expires.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you selected). You authorize LucraLab to charge your payment method on file for the renewal amount unless you cancel before the renewal date.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your credit card or other payment method for all fees associated with your subscription.
Prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) and are exclusive of any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar charges.
If a payment fails, we may suspend your account until payment is resolved. We will attempt to notify you by email before taking action.
LucraLab does not store your full credit card number. Payment details are handled directly by Stripe and governed by their security standards.
You may cancel your Gleam subscription at any time, with no cancellation fees. To cancel, access your billing portal (link provided in your account confirmation email) or contact us at hello@gleamreply.com.
Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period. You will not be billed for the following period. Gleam will stop monitoring and responding to reviews when your subscription expires.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be considered at LucraLab's discretion in cases of technical failure on our part. If you believe you are owed a refund, contact hello@gleamreply.com within 30 days of the charge in question.
To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the 14-day free trial period ends. Cancellation during the trial results in no charge.
You agree to use Gleam only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
LucraLab reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use policies without refund.
⚠️ Important: AI-generated responses are drafts, not guarantees. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any response before it is posted to Google. LucraLab is not responsible for the content of responses that are posted with your explicit or implicit approval.
Gleam uses artificial intelligence to generate review response drafts. While we design these responses to be professional, appropriate, and helpful, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate language.
For negative reviews (1–3 stars), you will receive a draft via SMS and must explicitly approve it before Gleam posts it. By sending "APPROVE," you confirm that you have reviewed the response and accept responsibility for its publication.
For positive reviews (4–5 stars), responses are posted automatically by default. You acknowledge that by enabling this automatic posting setting, you accept responsibility for AI-generated responses posted to your Google Business Profile.

Important: Gleam does not access, store, or process any protected health information (PHI). We only read and respond to reviews that customers have already made public on Google.
Gleam does not connect to your practice management software, EHR, scheduling systems, or any internal patient data sources. Our AI is instructed to never reference, confirm, or acknowledge any clinical details in its responses.
Because Gleam only operates on publicly available Google review data and does not handle PHI, it is not a Business Associate under HIPAA, and no Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required or offered.
If your practice is subject to HIPAA, you remain responsible for ensuring that your own use of Gleam complies with applicable law. We recommend not including patient names, diagnoses, or treatment details in any manual edits to AI-generated responses.
Gleam uses Google's official APIs and OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. By using Gleam, you authorize LucraLab to act on your behalf within the permissions you grant through Google's OAuth consent screen.
You agree to comply with Google's Terms of Service, including their Google Business Profile policies. LucraLab is not responsible for changes to Google's APIs, policies, or platform that may affect Gleam's functionality.
You may revoke Gleam's Google authorization at any time through your Google Account settings. Doing so will suspend Gleam's ability to read reviews or post responses.
When your subscription is active, we retain your account data to provide the service. After cancellation:

Gleam and all related software, designs, and content are owned by LucraLab LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
By using Gleam, you grant LucraLab a limited license to access your Google Business Profile data as necessary to provide the service.
AI-generated responses posted to your Google Business Profile become your content once posted. LucraLab claims no ownership over responses published on your behalf.
GLEAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUCRALAB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Use of Gleam is at your own risk. LucraLab does not guarantee any specific business outcomes, review response rates, SEO improvements, or reputational results from using the service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LUCRALAB, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
IN ANY CASE, LUCRALAB'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF GLEAM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LUCRALAB IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LucraLab LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. You may cancel through your billing portal or by contacting us. LucraLab reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice or refund, if you:
Upon termination for any reason, your access to Gleam will cease, and LucraLab will follow the data deletion procedures described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Gleam shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Washington State. By using Gleam, you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim, or it will be permanently barred.
